Hey guys I am sorry for the lack of posts etc on my blog but at the moment I am trying to find a way to revamp it and make it more reflective of me and what I like to do, to get more of a feel for me.

I have deleted a lot of posts as well as I will re uploading them making them more enjoyable to read.

I will be starting to do product reviews and soon my YouTube channel will have more than just nail of the day on it :)

Daily skincare Routine

Hi guys today's post is on my daily skin care

it is really important to cleanse and moisturise your skin daily as there are so many things that can damage the skin in every day life

so here is a basic week in my skin care routine :D

Daily

on a daily basis i will:

• wash my face with an oil free cleanser to help prevent spots and blemishes.
• pat dry my face with a clean dry towel
• using a cotton pad buff in a cleanser to my skin
• using a clean cotton pad i will blot off any excess product on my face
• using another cotton pad i apply a small amount to toner and then buff this into the face
• using a clean piece of tissue paper then blot off any excess toner from the skin
• then I will use a roller ball under eye treatment or an eye cream to reduce dark circles and puffiness
• then taking a pea size amount of moisturiser rub into the skin evenly

I do this to my skin when i get up and then before bed it insures soft skin although I still get spots at times.

Twice a week

• twice a week I will ex-foliate my skin to remove any dead skin cells from my face I use a normal mild soap or my daily cleanser with a pair of ex-foliating gloves
• use a pore strip in problem areas such as my nose and chin

Once a week

• once a week I will make a home made face mask and use this to refresh my skin I prefer to do this on a Sunday before a busy week

how to shape, shade and enhance eyebrows how i do mine and tips for light eyebrows

Hi guys this post is a request from a few friends on how to shape shade and fill in eyebrows, also a few tips if you have really light brows so it don't look like you drew them on with a felt tip pen

lets get started :D

Shaping

This is completely up to you weather you go to get them done in a salon have them done by a friend or yourself, if someone else is doing them for example in a salon they will know the shape you need if a friend is doing them make sure they know what they are doing, if you do them yourself here are some tips;

• using you eye as a guide and a white eye-liner pencil mark from the inner corner of your eye up to your eyebrow the same with middle of the eye and the outer corner so this will show you where the natural start finish and arch of your brow is. See image down below.
• start to pluck from the underneath of the brow to make the more desired shape if you prefer them thin or thick, always follow the natural curve of your brow - there are other ways to shape , waxing or threading , I advise having these done professionally if you have never done them before - there are also eyebrow shaping kits you can purchase from superdrug and boots these are a reasonable price for what you have in the packs.
• after plucking brows apply a cooling gel and antiseptic cream to the brow too avoid infections.

Shade and Enhance

Shading brows is more difficult than it appears there are many specialist brow cakes available but you don't have to buy these you can use a brow pencil MUA (superdrug only brand) do a great brow pencil for only £1 i recommend this if your a starter, also using a light brown eye liner or eye shadow and an angled brow brush is also a good option.

personally I use the MUA pencil or another brow pencil but using a powder is just as simple :D

• using a brow pencil or eye liner you want to make small strokes following the natural flow of the hair using a cotton bud blend out any harsh lines into the brow you can make the arch look higher and more prominent.
• using eye shadow is the same as a pencil using an angled brush use small strokes fill in the brow doing this brush make sure to always blend blend blend so colours do not look so harsh against the skin unless this is a look you want.

Some tips for light brows

1. use a light pencil or shadow
2. try not to make the colour harsh
3. blend out all colour to make it flow against skin
4. if you want darker brows use 1 shade darker than your normal shade this will make them appear darker without making them look too dark
5. make sure your foundation and eye shadow compliment the brows tidy

first day

today is the first day of my college course to get my make up artist qualification, its exciting i will be getting a pro set of make up as well as brushes xD

1. When you were a child, did you use your mother's lipsticks?

yeah as far as i can rember i did :)

2. How old were you when you bought your first lipstick?

about 13 i think i ordered ot from avon as my mother was an avon rep at the time :)

3. Pink or red lipstick?

this is a tough one it depends on the look i want to go for

pink for a playful fun fresh sumemr look

red for a 1950's inspired pin up look or something to make my lips stand out

4. The most expensive lipstick you have ever bought?

i don't know maybe one i payed £7 from boots a while back, i go for affordable make up as thats all i can afford at this time

5. And the cheapest?

anything i get on sale really i got a really nice shade of red before for 99p in the reduced section of boots :D

6. What's the most bizarre thing you have ever done with a lipstick?

painted my face haha as i didnt have that colour face paint at the time

7. If you had to recommend a lipstick, which brand would you recommend and why?

collection 2000 lasting colour, it is really smooth to apply and colour does last for a while also they are very pigmented and affordable :D

today i have been very productive mainly because my 500 false nails for £2.99 from ebay come in the post so i thought hey why not mess about with nail art today so i did and all i can say is compared to a few weeks back when i really started doing nail art i have improved so much my main problem at the moment is steadying my hands as i have terrible nerves i shake alot but once i calm it down i go pretty well :D

i will upload some pics and maybe even film a tutorial i have done a photo by photo video i am yet to upload on youtube but i will do it :)

it is now 11:23pm and i have been doing nail art for a good 10 hours think i will do the same tomorrow i need t buy a few bits to actually have the PERFECT nail art collection so thankfull for ebay haha :D
